Established officially in 2013, Trakia Economic Zone (TEZ) is the assembly of 6 industrial zones in Plovdiv region, Plovdiv being the second largest Bulgarian city, in particular, Maritza Industrial & Commercial Zone, Kuklen Industrial & Commercial Zone, Industrial Park Plovdiv which is on the blue prints, High-Tech Center PLovdiv, and Kaloyanovo Agricultural Center. TEZ comes along with the largest-scale economic projects of Eastern Europe. It is developed over 10 700 000 m². Since the start-up of the first industrial zone, namely Maritza, in 1995 down to the present moment, all zones have effected investments adding up to upward of 2 billion euros, with over 180 investors having been attracted, some of which renowned leaders in their respective fields.
